Hey all, I haven't stopped through in a really long time, but I owe it to the Jolly Roger and Cabal to let you all know what's up:

I got my super-talented friends to help me out and create a comic book. Then I hosted a party to give her the book as gift. It's a hardcover book, bound by hand by a friend of mine.

Of the 6 buddies that contributed art to the book, three of those were Caballeros: nowhereman, stephanie lantry, and randy! They kick ass!

Hope you guys enjoy the video!

I hope the world isn't the Matrix. I'd hate to be extracted and have my "real" name be OtterWally.

Congratulations and best wishes David and Jennifer! :D

That is so sweet! My favorite touches are:
  • basing the cover on one of Jen's fave comics
  • leaving Jen's last dialogue ballon blank for her to fill in with pen after she "filled it in" IRL
  • having plenty of blank pages after your relationship so far (because those dates are just the beginning...)
  • having "Vol. 1" on the spine (...and just the beginning of many, many years together :) )

I almost said this on your Facebook, but refrained just in case someone took me seriously but... "It's about time!" I remember you asking about engagement rings here (at least what feels like) years ago.

Seriously though, congrats again!
